Comments: I think it's terrible that, of all groups, it is a library that wants to shut
you down. Shame on them. Your net site is the only one available that gave me the
information I needed on Cambridge.

a picture of her city online. Way to go Cambridge!

get a kick out of the delivery boy's way of putting your paper in my mail box. I have

Comments: Hi. I'm now living in Calgary and love your site. Keep up the good work. May I
suggest an "archeological dig" to fend off the opposition of your site. Seems like the
political mentality of "Goode Ole Cambridge" is fossilizing while the world evolves. Good
luck with the dinosaurs.

expressive site for our beautiful City. Galganov, you are to be applauded for your
effort. Thank you, on behalf of myself for your community mindedness. Keep up the
fantastic work. January 23, 1998 The official City web site is poorly set up, poorly run
and a pain in the back side to use. Instead of wasting our tax dollars on lawyers, the
City should be paying you to provide this site. The Corporation of the City of Cambridge
proves once again it is run by morons. Try sending e-mails to
smithd@city.cambridge.on.ca. He is the ...-in-charge.

Comments: Great site. It's so obviously not the inferior official website that the mayor
and her legal heavies have as much chance of shutting you down as a snowball surviving in
Hell. Don't blink unless you get served...and even then, just mount an online appeal for
legal help. There are plenty of free speech organizations who would rally to the
cause.

Comments: The City of Cambridge is making a huge mistake! You're giving them, basically
a free site to promote the city, you pay your taxes, you're making an impact on the
economy and yet, they want to close down the site. What is it with government? They want
everything their way. So what if you're linked to gaming sites? You have to make your
site pay for itself. I can not, for the life of me, understand the way these politians
minds work. They give you an award for this site and then they want you to shut 'er down.
That makes a lot of sense!? And I can't understand why the librarian isn't web-
friendly. If he doesn't understand the process, get someone in there that does! Hire a
couple of students for part-time work, or for free. That work could go towards a credit
or 2 for school. There's got to be a compromise. Another thing, they(city officials) must
think we're a bunch of idiots. We can read. We know that it's not the "official website"
for the city, you've stated that right in plain view. This whole idea makes me very
angry. I, for one, want this site to stay open. Maybe you should treat their letters as
SPAM!

Comments: I have absolutely no idea what your site does, nor do I care. But your 'plea is
swirling around as if to mis inform the rest of society in cases of law that do not
exist. Show me that besides some threats from lawyers that there is some kind of danger
here. Everyone else ... relax, I believe that the only thing going awry, is that anyone
would really believe the lying threatening lawyers. Call me when this comes to a real
decision of law, instead of a legal hoax! If,as a webmaster, you enjoy publishing whatever
it is you publish, then why would you shut it down? The worst thing that could happen, is
after years of legal warnings and miles of red tape, not to mention a court decision, and
I would really like to know what that would be based on, the worst seniario is for a
court to ASK you to withdraw what ever it is that is so bad about your site! ie. change
the name or something. Don't let me waste my time on this again. Throw out any mail from
the lawyers as if it was junk mail ...because that's what it is!

acting out in a fit of jealousy. I've visited your site and the city's site and I can say
in all honesty thats yours is a much more informative site. They are jealous that their
site is lacking, plain and simple. I have directed people to your site Mr Galganov and I
will continue to do so as long as it is up and running.

Comments: What a shame that this site is in jeopardy. I am moving to Cambridge in the
summer and I am very nervous since I don't know the first thing about the city!!! I find
this site a wonderful haven to sort of "aquaint" myself with it to make the transition
easier for our family. We've learned a lot already and it would be a big loss if this
site wasn't made available any longer. To be able to come online and tell my little boy
about all the library activities going on and the different links this site offers is a
wonderful thing.

date on what's happening here in a town that I once grew up in. I enjoy this site very
much and would miss seeing it. We should be aloud freedom of speech here as we basically
do with the press. We need to get together and fight this!!! Someday I would like to move
back to Cambridge but that will not be for awhile. This is the greatest site I have found
for learning what's happening in town. Anybody that knows me, feel free to email me.
Thank you. Dana Ezekiel

that your homely little town has nigh on several ` Tim Hortons ` but only two ` Harvey`s
`. Alas, the burden falls squarely upon my troubled shoulders, to show you the error of
your sinful ways. REPENT ! REPENT ! Away with the demon infested coffee chain that is `
Hortons ` !!! Harvey`s, as a franchise, is of much greater importance to the future of
humanity !!! Heed my message !!! That`s all gentlemen, thankyou, Thankyou gentlemen,
that`s all... P.S We shall gather at the river, but if the river is crowded, we`ll meet
behind ` Zellers `...

Comments: I'm a native of Galt but haven't lived in Cambridge in over 20 years. What a
pleasure to see the ol' burg once more! If you want to give a treat to any others like
myself in the future - pictures, pictures, pictures. The 'virtual tour' of the parks was
cool - how about a virtual tour of the city? (Not every darn street, of course, but the
highlights.) Also I was smiling and thinking what fun a "Main Street Cam" would be - so I
could see, say, scenes from downtown in real time. But otherwise, beautiful site. I'll be
back. :-) Paul

Comments: This an excellent site, very informative and layed out perfect. It gives
people wanting to learn about Cambridge a good insight. Personally I think it lacks
historical information on the people of cambridge(ex. The Scottish influence of the
1900's, the migration of east coast Canadians to Cambridge and Comprising of About 25% of
Cambridge(Galt) Portuguese Ancestry.) These are points you should add to make this site
more complete, espeically on a historical context. Statistical information could also be
an asset for visitors(ex. employment rate, type of work, population trends, ethnic
origin,House prices and Future devolpement.)
